SPRAYMIST is a range of sprayers meant for the low volume spraying of specialized crops, which offer an effective and functional plant protection technique in the respect of the environment and of the operator’s safety. The low volume spraying possibility is the main feature of the SPRAYMIST pneumatic sprayers, in which the high speed air flow produced by a centrifugal fan, by passing through Venturi conveyors, produces small and uniform droplets (4/5 times smaller than those produced by normal volume conventional sprayers). This air flow brings these droplets on the crops assuring an optimal covering. The advantages obtained by a low-volume spraying are several: • Reduced dispersion. The different offered spraying heads, in different versions according to the plantation system type, allow an aimed distribution on crops and considerably reduce the dispersion in the air caused by drift. The small droplets totally stick to the plant surface, thus eliminating any dripping. • Improved distribution. The droplets suspended in the air flow reach all parts of the plants, even the hidden ones, and assure an even distribution of the spraying liquid and a total covering of the vegetation. • Saving of chemical product. The chemical product is completely sprayed on crops, since there is no dripping and the drift dispersion is minimal. For this reason it is possible to reduce the quantities recommended by the chemical product manufacturer by 10-20%. Therefore it is possible to save the quantity of chemical product, which, by a normal volume spraying, would be dispersed on the ground and in the air. • Shorter spraying times and lower costs. By the same quantity of liquid inside the tank it is possible to spray a surface from two up to five times larger than the one sprayed by normal volume. This greater autonomy of operation considerably reduces the number of tank fillings, thus allowing shorter dead times for tank filling and for preparing the water/chemical product mixture. This results in a strong reduction of the spraying time with consequent saving of fuel and labour costs. Therefore spraying treatments can be carried out with more timeliness, which sometimes is a must for a good spraying result. • Reduced wear. In low-pressure operation, the pump and the liquid circuit are less subjected to wear than a sprayer equipped with high-pressure pump; so the sprayer performances remain unchanged in the years. SPRAYMIST sprayers are available in three versions: • Tractor-mounted SPRAYMIST, with three point linkage, compact and suitable to the operation in any kind of land. • SPRAYMIST. T TRAILED, by the tractor, with fixed or articulated drawbar. • ARTICULATED SPRAYMIST. ART with 3-point linkage of the spraying head on the tractor and tank on trailer frame.
